Former Western Kentucky tight end Tyler Higbee told reporters Friday at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis that he won't participate in any drills Saturday as he recovers from a knee injury that required surgery in December.
Higbee was a late arrival to media interviews Friday at the combine, where he said his first workouts for scouts will be at WKU's pro day March 29.
The tight end said he had surgery 11 weeks ago, which means he went under the knife just days after aggravating a previous knee injury Dec. 5 in the Conference USA championship game.
