Everyone but Moustapha Diagne scored, and WKU’s bench contributed 26 points in the Hilltoppers’ 85-66 win Saturday night.
Freshmen Josh Anderson and Jake Ohmer combined for 21 points and Marek Nelson added five points. Ohmer scored nine points on 3-for-5 shooting from behind the arc, the first time he made at least three 3-pointers in a game since Nov. 29 against Eastern Kentucky.
Anderson added 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting and didn’t have a turnover in 17 minutes off the bench. The Hilltoppers’ 26 bench points were the most since Lamonte Bearden dropped 24 of the bench’s 29 points in the season opener Nov.
