He was raised in Montreal and moved to Wisconsin for high school. Then came college stops at Cleveland State, Providence and Western Kentucky, where he’s playing this season as a graduate senior.
Along the way, Lomomba’s learned a new language and immersed himself in new cultures while playing the game he loves.
“I’ve been able to play with a lot of great players, see things and just see different cultures,” Lomomba told the Daily News on Wednesday. “I think traveling a lot and meeting new people, being able to interact with people from different countries … helps you appreciate other cultures.
