The Lady Topper volleyball team came away with their 16th-straight win last night, using a strong defensive performance to defeat Alabama-Birmingham 3-0 (25-16, 25-13, 25-18).
WKU (20-2 overall, 6-0 C-USA) was held to its third-lowest hitting percentage on the season while attacking at a .281 clip, but held the Blazers to a lowly .009 hitting percentage.
“I’m very, very pleased with this win,” Lady Topper head coach Travis Hudson said. “The main reason I say that is because of how we got it done. Even though we struggled a bit offensively today, we played our best match of the year from a defensive standpoint.
