Western Kentucky football coach Jeff Brohm said he hasn't specifically sought out assistants with Louisville ties, despite an overwhelming number of connections.
"To be honest with you, as far as the Louisville ties, I think they just kind of happen," Brohm said. "It's not like it's something that I look to try to do."
But it's also probably not coincidence that each of the four assistants hired by Brohm in the last two weeks have direct ties to either the city or the University of Louisville.
Brohm's younger brother, Brian, will be WKU's new quarterbacks coach.
