Western Kentucky didn't win the annual chase for recruiting star rankings, and the Hilltoppers don't particularly care.
WKU had a modest showing in the team composite rankings by most recruiting outlets after National Signing Day.
But Tops football coach Jeff Brohm has been vocal in the past that he believes many external factors go into star rankings. Brohm said he's more concerned with findings players who "fit what we do, that are good people, that are good students."
"We don't mind sitting back in the limelight a little bit," Brohm said last week in an interview with SiriusXM College Sports Nation.
