BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball signee Mitchell Robinson received another prestigious honor Friday, as he named to the roster for the 2017 Jordan Brand Classic.
Robinson – a five-star, 7-foot center out of Chalmette (La.) High School – is one of 24 players nationally selected for the all-star game, which takes place April 14 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Previous participants include LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul.
Robinson was named earlier this month as the first McDonald’s All American in WKU history. That game is set for March 29 at the United Center in Chicago.
