On Monday afternoon, redshirt senior quarterback Nelson Fishback announced via his twitter page that he would be missing his last season on the Hill.
Fishback recently sustained an injury to his right pectoral tendon, which he says will “require repair.” The injury has an estimated recovery time of four to six months, according to a WKU press release.
“This is extremely disappointing for Nelson,” Head Coach Jeff Brohm said in a statement. “He has worked hard to put himself in this position and is a young man who does all of the things you would want out of your quarterback.
