The Western Kentucky baseball team still has some postseason hope, but it will take a special finish to the regular season to get there.
The Hilltoppers (24-27 overall, 10-17 Conference USA) wrap up their league slate with a three-game trip to Florida Atlantic, desperately trying to claw their way back into position for the C-USA Tournament.
"Our guys, I told them that we're going to play and compete until the last out is made," WKU coach John Pawlowski said. "I'm proud of our team and how hard they've fought. I've said it many times. They work really hard and have a great attitude.
