Western Kentucky’s football program is rolling. The Hilltoppers have won at least seven games each year since 2011, have won three straight bowl games and have claimed back-to-back Conference USA titles.
The Toppers are honoring league champions of years past with signage at Houchens-Smith Stadium noting all 12 seasons WKU has won conference championships.
The new display is located on the awning under the Harbaugh Club on the recently renovated side of the stadium.
The words “Conference Champions” sit in the middle, flanked by markers signifying the years 1952, 1963, 1970, 1971, 1973, 1975, 1978, 1980, 2000, 2002, 2015 and 2016.
