Dwight Coleby showed Thursday night why Rick Stansbury recruited the forward to come play his final year of college basketball at Western Kentucky.
The graduate senior Coleby posted 16 points and a career-high 15 rebounds – five offensive – in a 69-68 victory over Louisiana Tech. He also finished with three blocks, one assist and one steal against one turnover in 34 minutes at E.A. Diddle Arena.
“I thought Dwight was a horse all day long,” Stansbury said. “Sixteen and 15, I thought he was a load in there.”
Coleby’s double-double was his fifth of the season.
