The Western Kentucky track and field team won two events and recorded eight top-three finishes last weekend in the Meyo Invitational at Notre Dame.
The Hilltopper relay team of Maor Seged, Ja’karyus Redwine, Ventavius Sears and Emmanuel Dasor turned in the third-best time in school history in the 4x400 meter relay as the group took the top spot with a time of 3:09.25. The time is the 19th best in the NCAA this season.
Three Hilltoppers notched runner-up finishes. Senior Vincent Wyatt turned in a time of 7.89 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles, Sears notched a jump of 7.
