Western Kentucky offensive lineman commit Tyler Witt took a leap of faith with the Hilltoppers, without really knowing any of his potential teammates.
His fellow future Tops made sure he didn't feel excluded for long.
"I thought that was really important," said Witt, a two-star prospect from Joliet, Ill. "Right when I committed, I didn't really know anyone other than the people I officialed with. A day or two after, (quarterback commit) Steven (Duncan) messaged me and said 'congrats on committing.' He immediately put me in that group chat with all of them, and everyone has been so friendly.
