The Western Kentucky men's basketball team is improved, confident and peaking at the right time.
The Hilltoppers (16-15 overall, 8-10 Conference USA), winners of four of their last five, head into this week's C-USA Tournament with full momentum and the belief that they are a top contender.
"We knew two weeks ago if we didn't step up our game, we were going to have a rough go at it," junior center Ben Lawson said. "Now we've put ourselves in a lot better position.
"We've beaten the best teams in the league. No one wants to see us.
