The game will serve as Middle Tennessee’s 2016 Homecoming game. TV broadcast details have yet to be announced.
The Hilltoppers and Blue Raiders are Conference USA’s most historic and longstanding rivalry, having played 65 total games dating back to 1914. WKU won last year’s game in Bowling Green 58-28, but fell in triple overtime 50-47 in 2014 in Murfreesboro.
The Hilltoppers now have just one game without a set kickoff time, the regular-season finale at Marshall, which is on a 12-day out window from ESPN.
