Western Kentucky women's soccer coach Jason Neidell announced the Lady Toppers’ 2016 schedule Tuesday, a slate that includes nine home matches at the WKU Soccer Complex.
The 18-game schedule features eight opponents with at least 10 wins in 2015. WKU will take on eight non-conference opponents in 2016 beginning in August with two exhibition matches. WKU will host Northern Kentucky on Aug. 12 and will travel to Xavier on Aug. 14.
The regular season begins with road matches against UT Martin (Aug. 19), Memphis (Aug. 21) and Miami (Ohio) (Aug. 26). The first weekend of September, the Lady Toppers host Austin Peay and Georgia State.
