White completed touchdown passes to five different receivers in the Hilltoppers’ 35-31 win at Old Dominion. Four different wide receivers – Cameron Echols-Luper, Nacarius Fant, Quin Jernighan and Jacquez Sloan – all caught TDs at S.B. Ballard Stadium, as did tight end Deon Yelder.
WKU’s win Friday marked the second straight game where White threw touchdown passes to five different Topper pass-catchers. He found Fant, Sloan, Yelder, Mik’Quan Deane and Kylen Towner for scores Oct. 14 in a 45-14 home victory against Charlotte.
White has thrown 10 of his 12 touchdown passes this season in the last two games as WKU improved to 5-2 overall, 3-1 in Conference USA.
