NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The WKU women’s tennis team defeated Lipscomb 5-2 on the road on Friday night at the Whitworth Indoor Center in Nashville, Tenn. The Lady Toppers improve to 1-2 on the season.
WKU took the doubles point to get things started on Friday with wins at the one and two spots. Elpida Malamou and Andreanna Christopoulou were able to get a 6-4 win and Tereza Hejlova and Violetta Shatalova won 6-4 also.
Hejlova defended the top spot in singles and won convincingly 6-4, 6-2.
