BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU women’s tennis head coach Jonatan Berhane announced the addition of Cindy Oest to the 2016-17 roster Wednesday afternoon. Oest is set to join a current three-member Lady Topper recruiting class already consisting of Lisa Friess (Austria) and Natalie De Ugarte (Bolivia).
Oest comes to Bowling Green as a top-two player in her native Paraguay where she also held a 237 ITF ranking and recorded several victories over the world’s Top 100 players.
“Cindy is a very strong player from the baseline but she also likes to come into the net if she needs to and she has done very well in doubles,” said Berhane.
