BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Currently sitting atop the C-USA standings, WKU will travel to Texas for a pair of matches this weekend against the top two teams in the preseason C-USA coaches’ poll, taking on Rice at 7 p.m. (CT) on Friday before squaring off against North Texas on Sunday at 1 p.m. (CT).
The Lady Toppers (7-3-0, 2-0-0) have won four consecutive matches and six of their last seven heading into the weekend. The defense has not surrendered a goal during the current four-match winning streak, a 443-minute stretch that ranks currently fourth among all Division I programs with active shutout streaks.
