BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- WKU's defense held Georgia State without a single shot on Sunday afternoon as goals from Chandler Backes, Megan Morris and Christina Bragado paced the Lady Toppers to a 4-0 win over the visiting Panthers at the WKU Soccer Complex.
Backes, who currently leads C-USA in both goals scored (five) and points (11) this season, fired a pair of first-half strikes off the bench for WKU, and Morris notched her first goal of the season off a feed from Shayna Dheel to open the scoring in the 20th minute.
