IRVING, Texas - Senior Ellinor Haag has been selected to the 2016 C-USA Women's Golf All-Academic Team as announced by the conference office Thursday morning. The honor marks the second straight year that Haag has received a spot on the team.
The Sigtuna, Sweden, native leads the Lady Toppers with a 75.07 stroke average per round this season and has led the WKU card in four tournaments. Haag's best finish thus far in the 2015-16 season was a second-place showing at the Bluegrass Kickoff on Aug. 31 with a five-under 139 (67-72).
Haag has finished inside the top 20 in all but two of WKU's 10 tournaments this season, including four finishes in the top 10.
