IRVING, Texas - Sophomore Emily Alexander has been named the C-USA Women's Golfer of the Week as announced by the conference office Wednesday morning, one day after leading the Lady Toppers to the team title at the MSU Citrus Spring Challenge.
The weekly honor is the first of Alexander's collegiate career and the first for WKU this season. Alexander is the first Lady Topper to receive the weekly award since Ellinor Haag on March 12, 2015. The sophomore's honor is also the fourth that WKU has received under head coach Adam Gary over the last two seasons.
