BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - WKU forced 24 turnovers and pulled down a season-best 27 offensive rebounds on Thursday evening, capturing a 52-49 win over Rice inside E.A. Diddle Arena as the Owls' three-pointer at the buzzer bounced off the rim.
The victory is the 10th in a row for the Lady Toppers (13-2, 4-0 C-USA), who have now had a 10-game winning streak in each of the last three seasons. WKU also halted Rice's (3-12, 2-2 C-USA) two-game winning streak.
Tashia Brown led all scorers with 18 points and was joined in double figures by Kayla Smith, who finished with 10 points on the night.
