BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - WKU will open play in the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) for the 11th time in program history on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. (CT), hosting Dayton inside E.A. Diddle Arena in the opening round of the tournament.
The Lady Toppers will be squaring off with the Flyers for the 12th time in school history and own a 10-1 record all-time against Dayton. WKU has won the last seven consecutive meetings, including the last clash in an 87-80 victory on Feb. 11, 1991. WKU's lone loss in the series was an 82-72 setback in Bowling Green on Jan.
