W. Basketball. Noble Named Third CoSIDA Academic All-American in Lady Topper History

AUSTIN, Texas – Redshirt junior Kendall Noble has been named a Third Team Academic All-American by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) as announced by the organization on Thursday morning, just the third Academic All-American in WKU history and first in 35 years.

Noble is one of 15 honorees across the nation who received the accolades and joins Alicia Polson and Laurie Heltsley, who were First Team and Second Team in 1981, respectively, as the only WKU recipients of the national honor. The Hazard, Ky., native owns a 3.61 GPA as a biology major at WKU and was the only Kentucky native recognized on the three teams; Noble is also the 16th player in program history to earn All-American honors, Academic or otherwise.
