BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - WKU will go on the road for the first time in C-USA play this season as the Lady Toppers make the trip to Charlotte for the 49ers’ Education Day game at 10:30 a.m. (CT) on Thursday morning.
The Lady Toppers defeated Florida Atlantic and FIU inside E.A. Diddle Arena to open C-USA play last weekend. Against the Panthers, WKU forced 31 turnovers and held FIU to just 38 points, the fewest allowed in a conference matchup since holding Troy to 36 in 2011-12.
In Charlotte’s last time out, the 49ers earned a comfortable 69-51 win at Rice last Sunday afternoon.
