University confirms Brohm accepted job at Purdue

After spending three seasons as WKU's head football coach, Jeff Brohm has accepted a job at Purdue University for same position, WKU Athletics confirmed Monday.

The now former WKU head coach met with his team Monday morning around 10 a.m. to tell them the news and will be introduced as the Boilermakers new head coach at 3 p.m. Monday afternoon in West Lafayette.

WKU defensive coordinator Nick Holt will serve as the team’s interim head coach for the upcoming Boca Raton Bowl.

Brohm takes over a Purdue program that went 3-9 overall and 1-8 in the Big Ten Conference in 2016.
