Transfer PG Cooper signs with Hilltoppers

Cooper is a 6-foot Nashville native who announced earlier this month his intention to leave Lipscomb after three years playing for the Bisons.

Cooper isn't a graduate transfer, but he'll try to secure a waiver from the NCAA to play for WKU in the 2019-20 season, sources said.

247Sports reported April 15, the date Cooper announced he was leaving Lipscomb, that he planned to appeal to be eligible right away at his next school because of the Bisons' recent coaching change. Coach Casey Alexander left Lipscomb when he was hired by Belmont.

Cooper appeared in 100 games for the Bisons with 67 starts, including all but one game over the last two seasons.
