BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- The WKU Track and Field program is set to participate in eight events and send a total of ten athletes to this week’s NCAA Championships at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. The championships are set to begin on Wednesday, June 8, and will last through Saturday, June 11.
Junior Kyree King will lead the charge for WKU on the track as the Ontario, California, native became the first WKU athlete in program history to automatically qualify for four events at the NCAA East Preliminaries last month. King will participate in both the 100 meter and 200 meter dash as well as be a part of the Hilltopper 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams.
