Rick Stansbury is searching for something hard to quantify from his team this season.
Stansbury, Western Kentucky's second-year coach, called it "that magic level" Saturday after his Hilltoppers rolled to a 78-60 win over Wright State at E.A. Diddle Arena.
Even Stansbury had to admit this, though – the stats sure looked good for Western Kentucky (6-2) against the Raiders. The Hilltoppers shot a strong 51.9 percent from the field (28-of-54) while holding Wright State (4-4) to just 36.7 percent (22-of-60). WKU put five players into double-digit scoring, with graduate senior guard Darius Thompson leading the way with 18 points.
