Western Kentucky announced Tuesday that Hilltopper men’s basketball letterman Justin Johnson will practice with the WKU football team for the remainder of spring activities, beginning with Tuesday's practice.
Johnson remains an active member of the Hilltopper men’s basketball team and will work out as a tight end this spring on the gridiron.
A 6-foot-7 native of Hazard, Johnson led WKU in both scoring (14.5 points per game) and rebounding (9.4 rebounds per game) this past season. The junior forward also led Conference USA in both rebounding and double-doubles (14).
Johnson is also the first WKU player to lead the program in scoring and rebounding in back-to-back seasons since Chris Marcus in 2000-02.
