LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A career-high six strikeouts by righty Jeff Ciocco highlighted the night for WKU Baseball, who lost to No. 2 Louisville by a score of 11-1 on Tuesday evening at Jim Patterson Stadium. Colie Currie added a hit for the 12th time in 13 games, lacing a triple and scoring the Hilltoppers’ run in the third inning.

Ciocco relieved starter Caleb Bruner to begin the second frame and went 3.2 innings on 79 pitches. He allowed four runs on eight hits, but also added his half-dozen punch outs, including one of the swinging variety against Two-Time First Team All-American Brendan McKay to end the second and keep the WKU deficit at 3-0.
