That approach has worked for the Lady Topper forward, who mounted 30 points Friday in an 88-64 win against Lee University at E.A. Diddle Arena.
Brown scored all her points over the first three quarters against WKU’s Division II foe. She was 11-of-18 from the floor, 0-of-1 from 3-point range and 8-of-10 from the free-throw line.
The 6-foot-1 forward matched her season high with 30 points. She also reached that mark Nov. 10 in a win at then-No. 16 Missouri.
Brown’s 30-point night marked her ninth straight outing where she’s scored at least 20 points. That’s the longest active streak among Division I players.
