WKU's Endalow Takele finished 47th overall in the men’s 8K competition with a mark of 26 minutes, 11.9 seconds as the Hilltoppers saw their first 8K course of the season. Julien Cuyeu was WKU’s second finisher, crossing the line with a 26:29.3 for 59th. Taylor Scarbrough added a top-100 finish as well, earning a 27:10.6 time on the Percy Warner Park course. Alexander Schell finished with a time of 29:09.9 for 137th while Barrett Eddings rounded out WKU competitors with a time of 30:17.7 for 143rd.
In the women’s 5K, WKU senior Savannah Ames lead the way with a mark of 20:21.
