Stansbury: WKU signee Hollingsworth 'good enough to help you win'

But the Hilltoppers men's basketball coach has a standard when it comes to those recruits: They must be able to help WKU compete for championships. If they’re unable to do that, then Stansbury says he doesn’t want them.

Stansbury said Thursday that Taveion Hollingsworth of Lexington checks the box for that requirement. The Class of 2017 guard from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School signed his National Letter of Intent on Wednesday to join the WKU program.

Hollingsworth will be an important addition to the Toppers not just because he’s an in-state player, Stansbury said, but “because he’s good enough to help you win.
