Stansbury "thinks we're close" to Anderson, Diagne rulings

Western Kentucky is off to a 6-2 start, but still without two key pieces Rick Stansbury thought he’d have available in Josh Anderson and Moustapha Diagne.

Neither have been cleared, but the WKU coach said he “thinks we’re close” to rulings on both players.

The Toppers’ next game is Sunday at Ohio. They’ll then travel to Wisconsin for a Dec. 13 road contest against the Badgers.

Diagne attended WKU during the 2016-17 school year after transferring from Northwest Florida State, a junior college. He attended the school as a regular student who wasn’t part of the basketball program and wasn’t on an athletic scholarship.
