Western Kentucky men's basketball coach Rick Stansbury's plans were just what some fans wanted to hear Monday.
Among the new coach's talking points during his introductory news conference were consistent discipline, a tougher schedule and increased fan support.
Stansbury still has to deliver on those issues, but his message was well-received.
"As (athletic director Todd Stewart) kept walking me through things, there seemed to be this obstacle one day, the next day it was something else," Stansbury said. "But I never blinked on it. It never scared me. At the end of the day, I know what this place is about.
