Three times Tuesday during a news conference at E.A. Diddle Arena, Western Kentucky’s basketball coach praised his new forward’s character and work ethic.
“He’s going to do whatever you ask him to do to the best of his abilities and that’s all you can ask,” Stansbury said.
But when it comes to Diagne, the player, Stansbury said he’s still trying to figure out what exactly he has with the big man from Senegal.
“I really can’t tell you enough right yet, haven’t seen him play," Stansbury said.
Diagne has completed two semesters at WKU as a student but was only able to join the basketball program recently.
