Stansbury spoke Wednesday at a Bowling Green Rotary Club meeting in between his squad’s final two-a-day practices of the month. An audience member asked the third-year coach about who’s stepped into the leadership roles for the 2018-19 Hilltoppers.
Hollingsworth was a team captain in 2017-18, making him the first freshman in WKU history to fill that role. He served alongside fellow captains Justin Johnson and Darius Thompson, two All-Conference USA players who finished their careers last season.
Savage sat out last season after transferring from Austin Peay. Murray is a graduate transfer who joined the Toppers after playing last season at Auburn.
