New Western Kentucky men's basketball coach Rick Stansbury tried to put a pick-up game together with his returning players Monday, but he had one crucial problem.
"I figured out there were no guards and no shooting guards," Stansbury said during his introductory news conference in the Harbaugh Club at Houchens-Smith Stadium. "I've got nobody to dribble up the court or shoot it. I had a bunch of bigs. All those bigs, they want to dribble and shoot, I know that."
The Hilltoppers are expected to have no returning scholarship guards for next season after the news Monday that the school is not anticipating the return of suspended guards Fredrick Edmond, Chris McNeal and Marlon Hunter.
