In the grind of a college baseball season, it can be easy to plow through the schedule with blinders on.
Western Kentucky reliever Jackson Sowell has learned to stop and appreciate the opportunity to play the game he loves.
After making his return from Tommy John surgery last season, the redshirt junior out of Bowling Green High School has been one of WKU's top arms in the bullpen this season.
"Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in all the other stuff and not take advantage of it, and kind of go through the motions," Sowell said.
