BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On the heels of a tremendous 2015 campaign, a young WKU softball team looks to reload and continue its strong momentum in 2016 as the Lady Toppers are just three days shy of opening its spring season in Auburn, Alabama, as part of the 2016 Plainsman Invitational hosted by Auburn University.
“We’re excited about this season,” third year head coach Amy Tudor said. “We actually get to host home games this year as we have 29 home contests, including two tournaments, so that will be very beneficial for our young team.”
WKU is looking to replace seven starters, including the program’s first NFCA First-Team All-American in pitcher Miranda Kramer, from a 2015 squad that finished with a program-best .
