WKU (8-10) is coming off a 1-4 showing at Mississippi State's Bulldog Slamboree this past weekend. The Lady Toppers opened the weekend invite by dropping a pair of tough, one-run, 3-2 contests Friday to Central Arkansas and Chattanooga. A 2-0 shutout of UCA helped the Lady Toppers split a Saturday evening doubleheader and WKU closed the weekend Sunday with a 7-0 defeat to host Mississippi State.
