MURRAY, Ky. – WKU softball struggled offensively Tuesday evening as the Lady Toppers were held hitless through five innings in the opening contest of a twin bill at Murray State as the Lady Tops dropped a 6-0 contest at Racer Field.
The nightcap between the two teams lasted just under an inning before being cancelled due to inclement weather in the surrounding area.
Murray State (19-28) used a three-run shot from Maggie Glass in the second inning and a two-RBI double from Madison Culver followed by a WKU wild pitch in the sixth in order to plate all six of their runs.
