BOCA RATON, Fla. – WKU’s rally in the second contest of the day’s doubleheader fell short as the Lady Toppers dropped the first two games of their Conference USA weekend series at No. 23/24 Florida Atlantic (43-7, 18-2).

WKU started out the twin bill on a great note as the Lady Toppers used an RBI single from Hannah Parker in order to plate Brooke Holloway from second base. Holloway reached base off a single to left field and advanced to second due to a FAU wild pitch.
