Bac Totrong/Daily NewsWhen Kevaris Thomas made his official visit to Western Kentucky earlier this month, coach Mike Sanford did an exercise he likes to perform with quarterbacks.
Sanford installed a play on the whiteboard, going through every step and read. He then erased the board and handed the marker to Thomas with the instructions, “Teach it back to me.”
“Right then and there, he was spot on,” Sanford said Wednesday, hours after Thomas signed with the Hilltoppers.
