Western Kentucky coach Michelle Clark-Heard likes to say Jalynn McClain does things that don’t always show up in the stat sheet.
On Thursday night the senior forward made her mark on the box score, too.
McClain scored 10 points, tying her best scoring night of the season, as the Lady Toppers held on for a 72-65 home win against UTSA.
The 6-foot Jeffersonville, Ind., native was 4-of-5 from the field and 2-of-2 at the free-throw line. She also totaled four rebounds, one block and one steal against one turnover in 19 minutes on the floor.
Her block came on a Roadrunners fast break late in the game as they were attempting a comeback.
