Sears Headed for Indoor NCAA Championships

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – In his senior campaign on The Hill, WKU’s Ventavius Sears is headed for the 2017 Indoor NCAA Track and Field Championships for the second-consecutive year. Action from College Station, Texas, is slated to begin Friday at Noon and again on Saturday at the same time.

Competing in the long jump this time around, Sears will compete on Friday at 5:30 p.m. CT. The Columbus, Georgia, native is one of 16 long jumpers scheduled to compete at Texas A&M this year.

Sears’ season-best jump was a mark of 7.
