Sears Finishes T-12th in Long Jump at NCAA Indoor Championships

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- In his second-straight NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships appearance, WKU senior Ventavius Sears brought home a top-15 finish after tying for 12th place with a mark of 7.55 meters in the long jump.

"Mr. Sears has completed a very successful indoor campaign," head coach Erik Jenkins shared. "The NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship may be the hardest meet to qualify for in the world and he has now qualified twice. Ventavius [Sears] finishes his season as one of the best jumpers in the country and we are looking forward to an exciting and successful outdoor season.
